Teresa easily defeats the other Claymores, sparing their lives in the process. Priscilla, incensed by her defeat, pursues Teresa, and releases too much of her energy. She “awakens,” turning herself into a Yoma, and kills Teresa and her former comrades. Clare is left cradling Teresa’s severed head.
